Innovation Festival Milan 2010
The innovation event turns four

Innovation Festival Milano is an event designed to bring the large public of citizens, young people and non-professionals closer to technological innovation.
Through a combination of conferences, workshops, meetings, presentations of high-tech products, interactive areas, happenings and performances, Milan's Loggia dei Mercanti will turn into a place in which everyone can meet and learn, discuss and understand the new frontiers of technology in a cross-disciplinary cultural journey over four theme trails: Environmental Sustainability, Healthy Eating, Information & Communication Technology, Art, Fashion and Design.
The 2010 calendar, which you can find below, is particularly full of new things and events, many of which have been developed in collaboration with innovation and creativity professionals.

This year, we wanted to boost all the citizens' proactive involvement by upgrading our workshops, promoting new contests and offering smart entertainment, believing that innovation may only grow when there are people from different cultural backgrounds, with different experiences and different skills.
Innovation Festival Milano 2010 is promoted by Provincia di Milano and Alintec, with the sponsorship of the European Commission Enterprise and Industry, Regione Lombardia, Camera di Commercio di Milano and Comune di Milano.
In addition, this year the Innovation Festival Milano is part of a wider European initiative supported by the European Commission, which will bring the event in 6 European cities. After Barcelona, Milan is the second city, followed by Kortrijk, Lisbon, Vilnius and Tallin.

  • 20.000 estimated visitors
  • 176.482 website pages visited and 14.618 single visitors
  • 1.700 fans on facebook and twitter
  • About 200 articles on the press (paper and on line)
